In this studio, you will be challenged to address a pressing environmental issue: erosion!  There are many causes for erosion: unsustainable farming practices, weather phenomena and climate change, wind patterns and heavy rainfall. The consequences of erosion can be devastating to the habitats of people and animals, and can dramatically change landscapes. 

Given these environmental challenges, it's time to take action! In this studio, you will become engineers, tasked with researching a specific site of erosion and then designing innovative erosion mitigation systems to test and deploy. By the end, you will present a place-specific mitigation system that helps prevent erosion and improve the community of the site for which it is designed!
