Storyboards explain the story of your design and help others understand why your design is important and how it works.

On a piece of paper, create a storyboard that presents how your Deep Sea Bot would improve the quality of the ocean. Consider how you can tell a story using only 6 frames. The presentation above provides guidance on how you can best utilize the storyboard.

Share your storyboard with your partner. Discuss what could be improved with your storyboards and work together to create a better version together. You only need to submit one storyboard at the end of this activity.

Frame 1:

Introduce the problem you're trying to solve with your Deep Sea Bot (ex. microplastics)

Frame 5:

Show a detail image (usually a close up) of how your creature works

Frame 5:

Show the result of your Deep Sea Creature's impact (ex. cleaner waters, happy people, etc.)

Frame 3:

Sketch your Deep Sea Creature starting to solve the problem

Frame 2:

Depict the setting where your problem is occurring (ex. on the ocean floor, on beaches)

Frame 4:

Sketch your Deep Sea Creature continuing to solve the problem
